TICKET SALES HOLDING UP DESPITE RECESSION North Carolina Education Lottery ticket sales are holding their own despite the recession according to Alice Garland who is with the North Carolina Education Lottery. She told WHKP News that the numbers for February of this year are even with last year. Garland said that ticket sales were expected to be a bit higher in Feburary of this year, but that did not happen. Garland said that they add new instant scratch off games to the lottery, and remove old ones every three weeks. She said that they plan to add a new Carolina Pick Four game this spring which will be similar to the pick three game. |
