PUBLIC'S HELP REQUESTED IN LOCAL ARMED ROBBERY INVESTIGATION

LOCAL CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBED FRIDAY NIGHT

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance to identify the suspects from an armed robbery that occurred on Friday Feb 21, 2014 at 8:57pm at the EL Chapulin convenience store located at 1726 Old Spartanburg Road in Hendersonville.   The responding officers were told by the clerk that two Hispanic males had entered the store and while purchasing some items robbed him at gun point. The clerk told officers once the weapon was displayed the two suspects took him to the rear of the store, tied him up and proceeded to take an undetermined amount of money from the register along with several other items from the business.

Witnesses advised the suspects were operating an older model Ford Explorer (dark in color, possibly black or  blue) with South Carolina license plates and the vehicle was last observed turning onto Upward Rd from Hwy 176.  Attached are seven (7) still photographs of the suspects.

If anyone has any information about this incident or the identity of either suspect please contact Detective Johnny Duncan with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit at 828-697-4911.
