Civitan Club Presents the Hendersonville Swing Band in Concert

 (Hendersonville, NC) The Hendersonville Swing Band will play a concert on November 3^rd to benefit the Civitan Club of Hendersonville. The band, under the direction of trombonist Jerry Zink, will play Big Band favorites of the ‘30s and ‘40s including several tunes that were popular during World War II in honor of Veterans Day. The concert will be held in the Hendersonville High School Auditorium on Saturday, November 3, at 3:00 P.M. Tickets are available with a $10 donation to Civitan and may be obtained from Henderson County Visitors Center or any Civitan Club member. Tickets will also be available at the door.

The proceeds from the concert will be used to fund scholarships for graduating Henderson County High School Seniors and will also provide financial support to local agencies and events such as Special Olympics.
