RELAY FOR LIFE EVENT AT MOUNTIAN FIRST BANK

Mountain First Bank will be selling "Keys to the Vault" to all customers, employees, potential customers, and family for 10.00 each at the Four Seasons, South Branch and Etowah branch for a chance to win $500.00 with the opening key.  The campaign will run from April 7th thru May 17th.  The winning key will open a vault at the Mountain 1st Fourth Birthday Bash on Saturday, May 17th at the South office.  You must be present to win.  Proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.

SENIOR FRIENDSHIPS OF HENDERSON COUNTY

POOR MAN'S SUPPER AT BALFOUR METHODIST

Balfour United Methodist Church will have a Poor Man's Supper on Saturday, April 19th from 4:30 until 6:30 pm.  The meal will include meat loaf, pinto beans, cole slaw, corn bread, apple cobbler, coffee, tea, or lemonade.  Cost will be by donations only.  Proceeds will be used for the Roof Project.  The church is located at 2567 Asheville Highway, Across from Hunter Chevrolet.

WILDFIRE DANCE THEATRE AT LIBRARY

The Wildfire Dance Theatre will give a performance on Saturday, April 19th at 11:30 am in the Hendersonville Main Library Auditorium, 301 North Washington Street.  Free admission...Refreshments following the performance.  Wildfire Dance Theatre is a not-for-profit Theatre group from around the world dedicated to employing the Theatre Arts as a means of educating audiences about current social struggles and inspiring hope regarding society's future.

OUTCRY T0 MEET AT TRINITY OF FAIRVIEW

Outcry - a group of Young Singles Pursuing the Savior will meet once a month on Friday nights from 7 until 9 pm in Trinity of Fairview's Family Life Center.  This month's meeting is Friday, April 18th. BALLROOM DANCE  CLUB

The Ballroom Dance Club of Hendersonville will have their Spring Fling theme dance on Friday, April 18th from 7:30 til 10 pm.  Refreshments provided.  Singles and couples welcome.  $5.00 for non-members - $3.00 for members. CONFERENCE AT JOY OUTREACH FELLOWSHIP

Joy Outreach Fellowship of Pisgah Forest will hold "In the Secret Place" conference on Apirl 18, 19 and 20th.  Friday and Saturday nights at 7 pm, Sunday morning at 10:30 am.  The Fellowship is located at 3180 Hendersonville Highway in Pisgah Forest.  Conference speaker will be Dr. Dale Fife, Pastor and Best selling Author.  Free and open to the public.

HOWL-IN AT BLACK M0UNTAIN

LITTER SWEEP IN CRAB CREEK AREA

The Crab Creek Community Club will sponsor a Litter Sweep along the state roads on Saturday, April 19th starting at 8 am for a safety meeting before the cleanup begings.  Wear boots and protective clothing.  DOT will supply the orange safety vest, gloves, bags and etc.  Volunteers are needed.  Meet at the community builiding, located at Crab Creek and Jeter Mountain roads.  For info call Allen Martin at 697-1959.

SPRING EMPORIUM AT BETHEL WESLEYAN CHURCH

Bethel Wesleyan Church on Tracy Grove Road will hold a Spring Emporium on Saturday, April 19th from 10 am til 2 pm.  The event is free of charge.  Local artisans and crafters and local sales consultants for many different companies including Pampered Chef, Taste of Home and The Body Shop will be there.

ANNUAL PLANT SALE AT BLUE RIDGE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

The Horticulture Club at Blue Ridge Community College is holding their annual plant sale starting Monday, April 21st at the BRCC greenhouse on East Campus Drive.  April 21st thru 25th from 9 am til 12 noon.  April 26th from 9 am til 2 pm and April 28th thru May 2nd from 9 am til 12 noon.  They will have the ever-popular heirloom tomatoes, along with other vegetable, herb, and flowering plants.

WEDNESDAY EVENING CHILDREN'S PROGRAM AT REFUGE BAPTIST

Refuge Baptist Church has a Children's Program each Wednesday evening from 6:30 til 7:30 pm for children ages 4 to 12 in the educational buding.  Children will enjoy bible stories, music, crafts and games.  All children of the community are invited to attend.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE AT LIVING WATER BAPTIST CHURCH
