Mock NBA draft sites are all over the web.Most of them don't rate any UNC players very high.One has Lawson as the 17th overall and Hansbrough the 24th overall pick.Neither of these picks would command the big signing bonus money.

UNC holds its annual basketball awards banquet Wednesday night 4/16.It was at this affair last year Roy Williams announced all 3 players would return.Who knows this year?

Roy Williams has had set down talks with 3 Tar Heels about their NBA future.Tyler Hansbrough,Ty Lawson,and Wayne Ellington had separate meetings with their coach to try and determine their future.Williams will contact 5 NBA teams to see where these 3 might be drafted if they come out.UNC could lose 1,2,or all 3 players at this point.One player Hansbrough has already paid for his apartment for 2009..but that doesn't mean anything.

Shelby High defeated TC Roberson by 1 point to claim the 47th Annual WHKP Relays Thursday at North.We understand the Hendersonville team broke 2 meet records but WHKP has not been informed as to what those events and times were.
