Valen Vera Cruz

Being new to WNC radio, Valen Vera Cruz brings a fresh perspective to the Sunday morning programming here at WHKP. Living most of his life in the mountains of WNC and on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii, Valen developed a love for the diversity of people and their many different “flavors” of music and viewpoints. By God’s grace, Valen was raised in a wonderful Christian home, where he gained a knowledge of Christ’s love through
example and feels it an honor to be, In His Service, here locally at the ‘Broadcast House’ in Hendersonville, NC and around the world by internet.

Valen enjoys an incredible marriage with his wife, Malinda. Their home has been blessed with 3 great young adult "kids" and one cat. Through the week, when they are not serving the real estate needs of the community, with Prudential Lifestyle Realty, you will find them serving their church family at the Hendersonville Seventh-day Adventist Church.
