Don Michalove served 16 years on the Hendersonville City Council, the last 12 years as Mayor. He is a graduate of Hendersonville High School, with 2 years at University of Miami Business School. Other service includes: Institute of Government Municipal Administration. National Association of Regional Council: Post Human and Economic Resources. Legislative Committee. Environment and Energy Commissioner.
N.C. League of Municipalities: Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Policy Committee; Advocacy Committee. He has testified before two committees of Congress. He is married to Ellie; has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
