Crews scaled the top of the Henderson County Courthouse’s signature golden dome to give it a fresh coat of paint for the summer.
A Henderson County spokesperson said crews began work a few weeks ago applying primer and started the paint job Monday morning.
In a social media post, the Henderson County government thanked the team that keeps the historic courthouse dome shining bright.
“Next time you admire that iconic golden dome, know there’s hard work (and some serious balance!) behind that glow,” the post read in part.
