A good 'COMING TOGETHER' of public officials was observed last week.
Henderson County, along with City of Hendersonville and Pardee Hospital and Blue Ridge Community College officials announced a joint venture to re-locate Wingate University from its current location, Fifth and King Streets, to a yet to be constructed modern building complex, adjacent to property owned by Pardee Hospital. It will house Wingate's School of Pharmacy and the BRCC Nursing Program.
As observers of 'public happenings' here in our county for the past 68-years, we can't think of a more 'progressive' 'consortium' that has been made in this period of time.
So - today - WHKP RADIO takes this special opportunity to pass along recognition to everyone who 'had a hand' in bringing about this positive move.
Certainly an example of what 'good' can be accomplished when we all 'work together' in an unselfish manner.
