Mid-Morning Host Tyler Sams, will officially, and excitedly be moving back to "Afternoon Drive" on Real Country WHKP, beginning Monday, April, 29th..3-6PM. Tyler, who has been with WHKP since 2007, has certainly pulled many On-Air shifts in his almost 18yrs total in the broadcasting industry, says he is looking exceptionally forward to getting settled back in to what he calls his comfort zone that time of the day. I love the drive-time energy states Tyler, who feels he is best suited for Afternoons, it just fits my on-air presentation, style, and persona. WHKP, and Real Country management is also eager for this transition, as we continue moving forward in broadcast media & production. Technology, is changing rapidly, for the world of radio, and we love what we do, continuing to be Henderson County's Hometown Radio leader, since 1946.
