Hendersonville is getting 132 additional apartments in a project which has just begun next to the WHKP Radio tower on Signal Hill Road.

According to city records, the project which gained city approval as far back as 2020 is being constructed on 8 acres between Signal Hill Road and Duncan Hill Road.

It will be known as DUNCAN TERRACE and wil feature 12 three-bedroom units; 72 two bedroom units and 48 one-bedroom units. 

The project will feature six buildings as well as a clubhouse.

Developers of the project from Durham, NC say that 25% of the units will rent at a rate equivalent to 80% of area median income.
