Hendersonville City Council members voted Thursday night to support low-income housing tax credit applications at three developments -- Apple Ridge, Hawkins Pointe and White Pine Villas.
"Like many communities in WNC, Hendersonville has a pretty significant shortage of affordable rental units in the community, particularly for folks that are in our service industry and for even public employees," Hendersonville City Manager John Connet said.
All three projects are in Hendersonville and have already been approved by the city council.
