Henderson County will remember the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center later this week, with a ceremony in front of the county

courthouse.This ceremony will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at the Henderson County Courthouse, 200 N Grove St., Hendersonville, N.C.

The 9/11 memorial service will feature remarks from fire service, law enforcement and emergency management figures.

“Reverence, Remembrance, Reflection,” were the words from Chief Communications Officer, Mike Morgan.
