After an investigation, a 75-year-old man is facing charges of exploitation of a minor, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said.
On Oct. 23, the sheriff’s office said the Henderson County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force initiated an investigation into alleged possession and production of child sex abuse material.

Following the investigation, the HCSO said Patrick Murphy was charged with:
Third-degree exploitation of a minor, two counts
First-degree exploitation of a minor, two counts
The sheriff’s office said Murphy was arrested without incident and is in custody at the Henderson County Detention Center.
The incident is part of an ongoing investigation and no other information will be released, the HCSO said.
