At approximately 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2026, the Hendersonville Police Department responded to a 911 call from Hebron Terrace Apartments at 609 Hebron Road in Hendersonville regarding a man with a knife.
Officers arrived on scene and were approached by the suspect with a knife. In response to the threat, an officer shot the suspect. The suspect was transported to Mission Hospital. The NCSBI is investigating the incident according to standard officer involved shooting policy.
There is a heavy law enforcement presence near Hebron Terrace Apartments, and the public is asked to avoid the area.
