Hendersonville’s Patton Pool will push back their season opening this year due to installation delays of a new diving board. Patton Pool located in Patton Park traditionally opens for the season on Memorial Day, but staff expects this year’s opening to be delayed by at least one week. There is no opening date scheduled at this time, but updates will be posted at https://www.hvlnc.gov/
“We apologize for any disappointment caused by this year’s delay at Patton Pool,” said Public Works Director Tom Wooten. “Safety is our number one priority, and we want to ensure we are complying with all the requirements set out by the inspectors before guests begin enjoying this great summer amenity offered by the City.”
The Hendersonville Family YMCA operates Patton Pool and manages the pool’s schedule and programing. Please visit the YMCA’s Patton Pool webpage at https://ymcawnc.org/patton-
Once the inspection process has been completed and the pool receives approval to open, the City of Hendersonville will post an update at https://www.hvlnc.gov/
