Downtown Hendersonville will come alive with music, food and family fun on Thursday, October 15, as Rhythm & Brews, presented by Horizon Heating & Air, returns to South Main Street. Original bluegrass group Unspoken Tradition will headline the evening, with Finkelstein opening the show.

Rhythm & Brews takes place on the third Thursday of each month from June through October, offering a free outdoor concert experience in downtown Hendersonville. In addition to live music, guests can enjoy locally crafted beer, cider and wine, food trucks and family-friendly activities. The popular monthly series provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to gather, enjoy the outdoors and experience a lively evening in the heart of downtown.

Headliner: Unspoken Tradition is inspired by their own influences and the roots of traditional and newgrass music. North Carolina–based quintet Unspoken Tradition channels a sound that is both impassioned and nostalgic—equal parts hard-driving fire and heartfelt sincerity. Their music carries the soul of Appalachian storytelling. Unspoken Tradition’s material reflects the evolving culture of Western North Carolina; the place they proudly call home. Their songs echo the resilient spirit of Appalachia while pushing the boundaries of modern roots music.

Opening Act: Finkelstein Three  is a dynamic acoustic trio redefining the boundaries of traditional mountain music. The ensemble has captured the hearts of regional audiences by blending the driving rhythm of bluegrass with the intricate, adventurous spirit of jazz, rock, and pop. Dubbed a "jazzgrass" and "jamgrass" powerhouse, Finkelstein Three crafts a sonic experience that is both deeply rooted and effortlessly modern. Their eclectic repertoire shifts seamlessly from the high-lonesome classics of Bill Monroe to the timeless melodies of the Beatles and the sophisticated compositions of Chick Corea.

Opening acts will kick off each evening at 5:30pm. followed by the headliner performance from 7:30-9pm.

Rhythm & Brews, Hendersonville’s signature outdoor concert series, showcases a diverse lineup of music throughout the season. From soul, rock and funk to bluegrass and country, each concert brings a fresh sound to downtown. The series features a mix of acclaimed touring acts and talented musicians from across the region, creating a unique experience at every show.

Younger attendees can enjoy their own fun at the Kids Zone, presented by Mike’s on Main Street, with activities created especially for kids. Adults can take in the music and relax in the Rhythm & Brews beer, cider and wine garden, which offers a selection of locally crafted beverages from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Bold Rock Hard Cider, Guidon Brewing Co., Oklawaha Brewing Co., Dry Falls Brewery, Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards and Flat Rock Cider Company.

Please leave your pets and coolers at home. Chairs are allowed on the Wells Fargo side of the event near the Kids Zone. There are several free and paid parking options available near the show, with the closest paid parking in the private lot at Barnwell and Main (access only from King Street), and free on-street parking outside of Church and King Streets.

All net proceeds from adult beverage sales will benefit the Friends of Downtown Hendersonville 501c3 nonprofit, whose mission is to identify, preserve and enhance the key factors that contribute to the authentic small town urban character of historic downtown Hendersonville.
