Bettye Braswell Wall of Charlottesville passed away April 20, 2024 at Westminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge. She will be remembered locally as the wife of Lawson Braswell, the late publisher of the Hendersonville Times-News. A memorial will be held at Westminster Canterbury at 11:00 a.m. on May 11 and her family will gather at a later date to inter her ashes in Hendersonville; the Reverend Marian Windel will preside at both services. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to the WCBR Foundation, Hospice of the Piedmont or Kanuga Conferences Inc. of Hendersonville NC, Unrestricted Fund.
- Judith Kay Wellman, 86, of Hendersonville, peacefully passed away, surrounded by her children, at Pardee Hospital on Thursday, April 4, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm in the Pavilion at Flat Rock Park.
